Hosted by CoDec faculty at UMass, the SCAI Research Symposium brought together academia, industry experts, and government to imagine AI infrastructure as a flexible and responsible participant in the broader public-infrastructure ecosystem, designed to respect the resource constraints of existing infrastructure and serve the public good.
CoDec faculty and students made a great showing at ACM Sustainability Week in Banff, Alberta! Faculty and students from all six CoDec institutions (UMass Amherst, MIT, Carnegie Mellon, Chicago, UCLA, UW-Madison) co-authored seven papers at e-Energy and two papers at BuildSys -- congratulations to all authors and collaborators!
